New Braunfels

Path

New Braunfels is a German settlement founded in 1845 by Prince Solms of Braunfels, Germany at the confluence of the Guadalupe and Comal Rivers in beautiful Central Texas. Pierre Marglin, one of 14 founding fathers, was commissioned by Prince Solms in 1844 with bringing the settlers from the Texas coast to New Braunfels. He did so with oxen pulled carts.

The Marglin Ranch is owned and operated by the GGGGG-granddaughter of Pierre Marglin.
